Altho I must admit I feel a bit ripped off because the single short story I bought independent of this collection, which itself is misleadingly titled "Thirsty Tales Book 1" instead of, say, "The Terse Thirsty Tale", because it was, as I may have already succeeded in indicating, a single short story, rather than a collection of tales about thirst, was included as the final tale in THIS, The Blendstar Diaries, meaning I could have had it all by just buying this, I did like these stories, and, as I hope my headline indicates, I found them funny, clever, and in 'possession' of good lessons (quotations understood, one hopes, by those who've read the penultimate story in the collection).So, yeah, I read it all within the span of about a day, which means it really kept my interest. So, highly recommended.

It should have been titled "The Bitchy Diaries". This author did not give enough background story for this to be anything else. Boring, like a basic rant in a Facebook post. I wanted to read an interesting book.
***since this review, the author chose to make fun of "me" the reviewer. Indicating that since I gave 5 stars to an award winning author, who has had many best selling books, that I must be an idiot. It's obvious that her feelings were hurt. Yes, it's a work that she spent a great deal of time on. But criticism of her book made her act like the boring bitchy character she portrayed. Grow up. Learn to write an interesting story and use these reviews to make you a better writer and not a lesser person.
Tantalizing violence for the service industry! If you've ever worked a counter, bar, or waited a table you're gonna love this. "Nathaniel's Revenge" would be an interesting insight for an uber driver. Just plain good. I've got the hard copy that comes with some illustrations you don't get in the kindle version. Can't wait to see some more stories from this new author.
